Copyright and Licensing Policy

Copyright

  • Authors publishing with the Journal of Pak International Medical College (JPIMC) retain copyright of their work.

  • Authors grant JPIMC the right of first publication and permission to disseminate the work under the selected license.

  • Authors may deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, research networks, or personal websites, provided that proper citation and a link to the original publication in JPIMC are included.

Licensing

  • All articles in JPIMC are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

  • This license allows others to:

    • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

    • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material.

Conditions:

  • Attribution — Proper credit must be given to the original author(s) and the source.

  • Non-Commercial — The material may not be used for commercial purposes.

Author Rights

Authors are free to:

  • Reuse published content in theses, dissertations, or future publications (with proper citation).

Journal Rights

  • JPIMC reserves the right to edit, reproduce, and distribute articles in print and electronic formats.

  • The journal may archive content with digital repositories and indexing services to ensure long-term preservation.

Commercial Use

  • Commercial use of JPIMC content is not permitted without prior written permission from the author(s) and the journal.

  • Requests for commercial reuse should be directed to the editorial office.
